SCW Citrus Gleaning every Thursday morning (9:00 AM – 11:00 AM) now thru March 30th, organized by Desert Gardens United Church of Christ (18818N 128th Ave SCW – off RH Johnson).
Last year the team gleaned 126 trees and collected 34,010 pounds of citrus. This year the team has requests to glean 140 trees! All harvested citrus is donated to St Mary’s Food Bank and distributed locally and to adjacent states! For further details, contact our Group member, Bill Johnston, who can answer your questions.
